| Salinity is one of the environmental stresses that most affects plants' vital processes, especially germination. Brassinosteroids, including 24-epibrassinolide (EBL), have multiple actions in essential processes in plants. Thus, this research's objective was to evaluate the effects of EBL on tomato seeds' physiological conditioning on germination, growth, and production of dry seedling mass under salinity conditions. | One of the main problems faced in corn cultivation, especially in Cerrado regions, is the deficiency of micronutrients. Among the micronutrients essential for the development of plants, boron (B) stands out for participating in a series of physiological processes. Based on this, the present work aimed to evaluate the performance of corn under fertilization with different sources and doses of boron. | Avaliou-se o desempenho agronômico de híbridos de milho em três épocas de semeadura no município de Ceres-GO. O experimento foi desenvolvido na Fazenda Experimental do IF Goiano Campus Ceres. O delineamento experimental foi o de blocos completos casualizados em esquema fatorial 10x3, dez híbridos de milho (Truck, Fórmula, P30F53, P3646H, P30F35H, AGN 30A91H, AGN 30A37H, AG 8088VTPRO, DKB 390 e DKB bi 9438) semeados em três épocas (30/11/2011, 01/02/2012 e 20/02/2012), com três repetições. | The objective of this study was to evaluate the agronomic traits and grain yield of corn hybrids in two locations of the North Central region of Goiás. The experimental design was a randomized block, in the 17x2 factorial scheme (17 hybrids and two locations) with four replications. The locations were Itapaci and Ceres. Each plot consisted of two rows of five meters, spaced 0.50 m and rows were sown on the sides, which served as a border. | Objetivou-se avaliar a produção e composição químico-bromatológica da matéria original e da silagem de cinco híbridos de milho em duas alturas de corte. Utilizou-se o delineamento de blocos completos casualisados em esquema fatorial 5x2, cinco híbridos de milho (AGN30A95H, DKB399Y, DKB390Y, P3862H e TRUCK) e duas alturas de corte (0,25 e 0,50 m) com três repetições. | Cabbage is an important vegetable for food. The use of micronutrients, more specifically boron, is important for plant development and head formation. The study aimed to evaluate the agronomic performance and yield of the cabbage crop submitted to the application of different sources and doses of boron.
